All students of grade V of R.S.Junior Modern School, Humayun Road, New Delhi (the junior wing of our school) routinely get admitted in grade VI in our school. Apart from this, we may admit a few students in classes VI and XI depending on the number of vacancies available.

Classes VI (Grade 6)

For getting admission in class VI, the applicants should apply in the last week of March through an application addressed to the Principal, clearly mentioning whether the admission is sought as a DAY SCHOLAR or BOARDER, with details of the child’s academic performance and his/her achievements in the field of sports and co-curricular activities. A copy of annual result of the class V (Grade 5) must be attached.

Class XI (Grade 11)

For getting admission in class XI, the applicants should apply immediately after the class X results for the CBSE/ISCE are declared. The applicants should fill the application form available at school’s reception, mentioning whether the admission is sought as a DAY SCHOLAR or BOARDER, with details of the stream required i.e. science, commerce or humanities, with the subject combinations, and must attach copy of his/her class X mark sheet orprint out of his/her result available at the CBSE/ISCE’s website, duly attested by the principal. After scrutiny of applications, list of short listed candidates is put up at the school’s reception/gates, informing the date and time of interviews and the candidate must attend the interview along with both the parents.

Registration and Admission - Class XI 2018 – 2019

Eligibility Criteria for Registration

Eligibility to appear for the provisional admission test will be based on the Results of Class X Pre Board Exams. However, the final admission will be subject to  the Board Examination Results of Class X.


Science Stream

Minimum 70% in each subject - English, Mathematics & Science

commerce Stream

Minimum 70% in each Subject – English, Mathematics & Social Science

Humanities Stream

Aggregate of 70 % and above

Kindly note:


Pre Board Marks issued by the School will be verified at the venue.


“Predicted Marks” cannot be substituted for the Pre Board Result.

The applicants not satisfying the eligibility will not be allowed to appear for the Written Test OR will be disqualified even after appearing in the Written Test.
Admission Procedure


Students should apply online by clicking the "Online Registration" link starting on 21th March2018   . No application received in any other  form will be considered/accepted as registration for Class XI Admission Session 2018-2019.


Selection Criteria: The selection of applicants for the Provisional Admission will be on the basis of their performance in the written test. The admission will only be considered confirmed after receiving the Final Board Results.

Important instructions to the applicants appearing for the Written Test:

  • Reporting Time for the Written Test: 08:30 am
  • The students are requested to carry the following (in original) at the admission center:
    • A photo identity proof
    • A printout of Online Registration Slip
    • The candidate will not be allowed to sit for the test if the eligibility criteria is not fulfilled.
    • A self-attested printout/photocopy of the Class 10 Pre Board Mark Sheet issued by the School.

Important: Any personal belongings other than those, which are mentioned above, such as Papers, Notebooks, Bags, Mobile phones, Smart Watches and other Electronic Gadgets are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the examination rooms. School will not be responsible for any valuables/ personal belongings.
