GRADUATION DAY 2020

Modern School, Barakhamba Road, organised the Graduation Ceremony, on 17th January 2020, for the outgoing batch of Grade-XII. Mr Sunder Hemrajani, Chairman, Modernites’ Trust and Term Trustee, Board of Trustees, Modern Schools was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The occasion was also graced with the benign presence of the Guest of Honour, Mr Vineet Sahai Sarin, President, Modern School Old Students’ Association and the Principal, Dr Vijay Datta. The event commenced with the School Orchestra’s mellifluous rendition of the signature Graduation tune that seeks to signify the remarkable event of S7 students stepping into a new world. The Principal, Dr Vijay Datta, addressed the gathering. He congratulated students for their stellar achievements and inspired them to relentlessly strive for excellence.

Further, the students from the batch of 2020 shared their experiences, memories, lessons and anecdotes from years spent at Modern School. The Guest of Honour, Mr Vineet Sahai Sarin, President, MSOSA, addressed the gathered audience and lauded Modernites for their exemplary performances in academics and co-curricular activities. He also encouraged students to now see themselves as an integral part of MSOSA.

 

The Chief Guest, Mr Sunder Hemrajani, in his address wished the best for the students for a new milestone in their lives. The Principal, Dr Vijay Datta, felicitated the ceremony of ‘Passing the Light of Knowledge,’ by lighting the Candle of Knowledge. All the graduating students in their graduation robes with the tassel on their right, received the ‘Light of Knowledge’ by the Principal. The event marked the oath taking ceremony by the Batch of 2020 and concluded with a get-together of Class XII students, their parents and teachers.
