A Tryst With Rajdeep Sardesai

Going back home had never been so exciting for the kids of MSB 11, as they looked in awe at the India Today crew. Hushed whispers and ecstatic squeals portrayed their eagerness to interact. As the renowned journalist Rajdeep Sardesai stepped aboard the bus, thundering applause greeted him warmly. Engines ignited, cameras started rolling and excitement levels reached sky high as Mr. Sardesai picked up his microphone. Interactive, humble and witty, he instantly struck a chord with the young audience. He proceeded to asking quiz questions to the children and everyone answered with utmost zeal and commendable accuracy.

“Where did the latest ISRO PSLV Launch take place?”, he asked, with a number of excited hands going up to answer him. Being a quizzer himself, he also invited children to ask him questions. In the short bus journey with him through iconic Delhi landmarks, everyone was left enriched.

As Rajdeep Sardesai bid adieu to the bus, children buzzed with eagerness to witness the New Wiz on India Today, every Sunday at 11 a.m. and cheer for their school.
