Tree Plantation

Modern School has always encouraged Tree Plantation and the annual TREE PLANTATION DRIVE, an initiative taken by the Environment Club of the school that took place on 1st and 2nd July 2016 was truly commendable. Great enthusiasm and fervor was seen among the students and teachers alike. We, at Modern School, stand for the cause of sustainable development and understand the value of tree plantation.

On the first day, the initiative was supported and sponsored by the esteemed members of The State Bank of India. Many Senior Officials, Respected Principal Dr. Vijay Dutta and members of the Environment Club were present to grace the occasion and set an example for others to follow. Various saplings were grown and trees were planted like Palm, champa, motiya, Anar, Jamun, Faicus, Gudhel, Chandni , Papaya, guava.On the 2nd Day there was another mega tree Plantation Programme under the aegis of The Rotary Club to commemorate 111 years of the prestigious Club.
