The ideals of Round Square are embedded in the very ethos of Modern School. The various activities, symposia, workshops, trips and exchange visits are all avenues for the children to explore the various ideals of service, adventure, democracy, internationalism besides others. Being an oasis in the concrete jungle, through its very active Nature Club, the students at Modern practise good green deeds and boast of solar panels, rainwater harvesting, vermi-composting besides regular tree plantation drives. A consistent and collective effort, “to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield”, is the objective of the school as mentioned by Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson.
