The Department of Chemistry is fully equipped to meet the requirements of the classes for senior secondary students. The Department of Legal Studies was created in the year 2013 in Modern School, Barakhamba Road as a part of the pilot project of Introduction of Legal Studies by CBSE. The curriculum includes a brief introduction to different branches of law like Contract, Family Law, Criminal Laws, etc which form a significant base for pursuing Law at higher levels. The course not only aims to help the students become aware of their rights and duties but also helps them prepare for Law entrance exams. Legal Studies is available for Classes XI and XII as an option in Humanities and Commerce Streams.

Department of Social Sciences The social sciences are a vital part of today’s culture and touch on all areas of life, the social sciences are those subjects which examine and explain human beings. This includes a variety of ways – from understanding how minds work, to how societies as a whole function.
